Diversified Path to Learning Program
LJA is proud to offer a diversified environment that serves the special needs of many differently abled learners in our community. All our Special Needs programs provide a positive environment with learning objectives tailored to each student's learning style, academic level, and individual needs according to their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
The Diversified Path (DP) to Learning Program provides low-ratio classes that allow students to work on a modified curriculum that matches their individual needs. This low ratio classroom provides a positive environment that matches the student's learning style, academic level and individual needs according to their IEP. These students receive ongoing support with a core teacher and in class support. This classroom reinforces the development of critical thinking, emotional regulation and good decision as well as reaching their potential. These students are active participants in school life.
