Guidance Counselling

Guidance Department

The Guidance Department offers support to students in overcoming any academic or psychosocial difficulties that are affecting a student’s ability to achieve academic success and positive self-image. Services offered are educational counselling, career/vocational counselling and personal counselling.

  • Educational counselling: Course selection, schedule changes, academic skills support
  • Career/vocational counselling:Post-secondary planning and course selection guidance
  • Personal counselling:Stress, anxiety, grief, peer group relations, social difficulties, referrals to mental health agencies

Students and/or parents are encouraged to seek Guidance support with any questions or concerns related to the above-mentioned topics.
