Academic Promotion Policy
Secondary 1 to Secondary 2 &
Secondary 2 to Secondary 3
A student must meet Criteria 1 AND Criteria 2 AND Criteria 3 to be promoted to the next academic year.
Criteria 1
A minimum average of 60% in 2 of the 3 core subjects :
a. English Language Arts
b. French Second Language
c. Mathematics
Criteria 2
A minimum of 26 credits successfully completed from the student's course load. Please consult the table below for the allocations of the credits for each subject :

Criteria 3
A minimum of 60% overall average.
The final decision for placement remains with the Principal and School Team.
